18 million survivors. Zero franchised clinics.

Cancer-survivorship primary care and pediatric-to-adult transition care are the two largest un-franchised categories in U.S. healthcare. Search demand is rising, guidelines exist, payers want it, and no national brand has claimed the ground. Life Spark is building it.

Why now

Five structural reasons the category cracks open in the next 36 months.

01

Screening pushed cure rates up faster than infrastructure could follow

5-year survival across all cancers is now 69% (SEER, 2024). The system was built to treat, not to follow. Twenty million people are living in the follow-up gap.

02

Oncologists don't want to be primary care doctors — and shouldn't be

ASCO's own workforce projections show a 2,000+ oncologist shortage by 2030. Survivorship visits are being pushed downstream to PCPs who were never trained on late effects, cardio-oncology, or COG-LTFU.

03

The AYA transition cliff is a documented failure mode

At age 18–21, pediatric survivors are discharged from children's hospitals with an average of 2.3 late-effect risks and no adult clinic to catch them. 68% report no written transition plan. This is the exact problem no adult health system currently owns.

04

Employers and payers will pay for it

Post-treatment cancer patients drive 3.2× the medical spend of matched controls in the first two years. A structured survivorship home reduces ED visits and duplicative imaging — the business case is already written.

05

The regulatory/clinical guidelines already exist

NCCN Survivorship, ASCO Survivorship, COG-LTFU, and IOM 'Lost in Transition' give us the protocol. Nobody has operationalized it as a scaled, branded, franchisable clinic.

The category is empty. We are claiming it.

First 50 territories are being awarded to operators who want to own the survivorship home in their metro. Investor conversations for the Series A are open in parallel.
